4 out of 5 stars Great suit to hide your flaws!   August 26, 2009
Tiffanye Davenport (Decatur (Atlanta), Ga USA)
I purchased this suit over a year ago, and it has been my go-to suit ever since. The shirred middle area does a great job at hiding those midsection hangups you may have, and the skirt is just the right length to cover the upper thighs. Only downside - and I've noticed this with other Newport News items - is that it is made for someone with a longer torso. Being on the short side, I feel like I'm pulling the suit up sometimes. Also, if you have a larger bust, it will not provide very good support for you. My tip - I went to my local alterations shop and had them remove some of the elastic section from the shoulder straps. The suit is still low cut, but it gives a lot better support.

2 out of 5 stars Okay, not great.   June 6, 2009

This suit is okay. It is very slimming, but their is NO support on the top if you are at all large chested. I would have to wear a bra with this to be comfortable - very disappointing.

5 out of 5 stars This is a great suit!   July 1, 2008

I recently gained a few pounds and I just don't feel comfortable in bikinis anymore. I ordered this suit and it fits extremely well. It covers you in all the right areas and is still very flattering. I highly recommend this very cute bathing suit!

4 out of 5 stars I really like it!   June 30, 2008

I'm very picky about my swimsuits being a young woman who does not look gook in a bikini. I'm not big busted but full hipped and I think that's the best combination for this swim suit. It creates a very nice silhouette while hiding hips and holding in belly. But I could see how the top could be problematic if you were naturally bigger busted (I think implants would do just fine). I think what I liked best is that when I had it on, I didn't feel like it was obvious I was covering up. I think that might have to do with the daring top.Anyway, I would recommend it.

4 out of 5 stars Sexy if you're curvy   June 1, 2008

This suit is a very sexy suit if you have some curves. My problem areas are my thighs and my lower abs. I have a defined waist and I am pleased with my "top" and "bottom". It's just that I have these rather large, dimply thighs that most suits, one or two piece, don't hide and a little poochy lower ab area. This suit does the trick!

Someone mentioned about the soft cup and I agree. There should be more support in the bra for such a revealing top. The skirt is not meant to sit at your natural waist. Imagine where you would take a 'hip measurement'. The seam for the skirt runs just above that by about 1 or 2 inches.

This suit camouflages all my problem areas while accenting my favorite areas. The top is revealing and the skirt seam sits just above my bottom so the skirt swings in the back. I would have given it 5 stars, but there needs to me more support up top.
